OH MAN !! I melted my headlights in the oven !!!
(i'm not new to this site even though i haven't posted much, i'm usually just browsing around reading posts)
Someone PLEASE help me !!! i tried clearing my headlights this weekend during the snowy weekend (maybe a bad idea), and while i was finishing up the second headlight (driver side headlight)...and somehow the temperture was 400 degres !!
so when i grabbed them out it was all melting and gooey, the oven was a mess. So i guess i didn't bother even taking apart and finishing the project because i was too FREAKED OUT !!!
however when installing the left side headlight back together, i notice that i burned the bottom of the headlight unit so that the part MARKED IN BLUE (above, which i found the picture in one of the DIY)...didn't have newhere to go...do i really need to worry about this part.... and more importantly what do i do with my headlights !!!

I was wondering how long it would be before someone did this. Kind of funny. Anyway, eBay or a local junkyard would be your best bet. It sounds like you only need the housing as opposed to the whole unit (which includes bulbs and ballasts). If you can find just the housings, it will be much cheaper.

here is the thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/sold-fs-04-06-tl-driver-side-headlight-351314/
however, there is a buyer. if you are interested, PM me before that buyer pays.
