2008 Tl Type S (5at)

Just had an Acura dealer install OEM door visors and the drivers side one has a small intermittent drip of water when the window is cracked and it's raining. Can't tell if water is entering the right end and rolling down and dripping about midway down or not. Anyway, any ideas on how, or even if, I should approach the dealer service on this? I don't see any way of fixing this other than fully replacing it. I can also see them saying "Bring it back when it's raining, blah blah, blah" (I'm going to try and reproduce with a bottle of water this afternoon to nip that in the bud). Paid 313.00 bucks! sigh...

Option 2 is, I skip the dealer hassle and attempt a clear silicon fix?
