Im experiencing this weird problem. Now this has happened to me about 3-5 times in a year I guess.

While my car is idling whether I just started it or after I drive for a while.
Pretty much while the car is still in Park or Drive gear but not moving. The engine stops, but power in stereo and etc is still on.

I simply just put it back on Park and turn the key to off and start it again and it starts up perfectly fine.

Does anyone know whats happening?

 

did you run a diagnostics engine check yet?

 

Perhaps a bad ignition switch...
