Non linear torque curve 07 TLS, 6MT

Let me try to explain this as simpy as possible.

I bought my car in July and love it, but I noticed that across the RPM band there the torque seems to be non-linear, or if I did a dyno run, I'd expect it to waver a bit and not be flat (linear).

Here is what I notice. When I put it in 2 and punch it and let the car rev up towards redline, I notice that it has spots where it seems to pull much harder than other spots. I can do this in 3rd easily as well, haven't really tried 4th but that would put me up into exceeding the speed limit by quite a bit in normal conditions.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there something I should or could do, or should I mention it to the dealer and have them look at it?

Make sure the AC is off (should shut off uner WOT anyway) and traction control is off. There's a lower rpm where the short runner butterflies open and then there's vtec. I'm sure someone will chime in with the exact rpm each event happens at.

If what you're feeling doesn't coincide with the butterfiles or vtec, try some 100 unleaded in the tank or a couple gallons of tolulene and see if it pulls more linearly. It's possible you could have the beginning of the infamous pinging problem.
