Bad Tranny problem after snow!

Hi i have a 2006 TL auto with 40k miles on it. It was running fine and then it snowed today and i was driving around town fine, a little slippage but not much and then all of a sudden it would shift real hard through the gears and then it wouldnt shift at the right time, and then it would shift real hard in 1st, 2nd, and then stay in 3rd and not get out and it wouldnt let me put it in triptronic...and then the traction light went on, the VSA light, the CEL, and the little Green dot next to the "D" was flashing...i parked it and idk wat to do, any ideas?? i really need help!!

thanks

Flashing D light means transmission failure. The car is in LIMP mode now and most likely will not go past 3K RPMS. Call acura road-side immediately and have them town it to acura. I would adivse that you go out and check the Fluid in the transmission. The stick for it is right in-front of you when you open the car. It has a yellow/orange loop on it and is located near the battery. It should be near the upper hole on the stick. Also when wiping the fluid off the stick, it should be either red or pink, if it is brown, the transmission is buring up the clutches.

Everyone could speculate but no one could know without a diagnosis. Someone needs to look at it and check it out.

Sounds like you just need to take it into the dealer.
