Noisy/lagging transmission; when moving shifter.

From the day i got in to test drive till now, I noticed the transmission or "gear box" ( not sure what to call it ) Lags a bit and can be noisy.

For instance, when i put my foot on the break and shift to R, you hear CLICK and i count 1-----2------3 by 3 the cars in gear.

Same thing from R to D. You hear "CLICK OR CLUNK" 1-------2-------3... then i start to feel the car move on its own..

It seems wrong to shift from park to drive and just press on the gas but I am so tempted to do it.. Ive never felt a lag like this in any car I've driven which is many.

Keep checking back as i am going to post a video from start to finish of whats going on.

Have not, I assume theres a stick in there to let me know its full empty etc... any special tranny fluid i should buy or is it all the same?

Another thing i notice is, when on the highway usually after i blow through an e-z pass the lanes narrow down to 1/2 lanes. So i speed up to beat everyone to it and the car has to be in about 3rd > going to 4th gear, when it shifts its very jumpy almost as if the cars hurt and jumps back.. its all very confusing to type I'm going to take a few videos today and let everyone see it for them selves so i don't sound crazyyyyyy.

BTW how many miles are on your car? Sounds to me you may want to change your tranny fluid. I've seen numerous times Redline is recommended. Every once in awhile I see people use amsoil or just factory oil or any other equivalent brand. You could be low on fluid too.
I've also heard people changing out the 3rd and 4th "pressure switches". Which I believe they're just solenoids. I'm sure there's more info on it here. Acura gurus do chime in. Searching on A-zine will definitely cause you to spend more money (mods) and get your car in great shape.
