Noise when braking and accelerating

Hello,

I have an 07 Acura TL that just hit 100k. The car has been experiencing noises when coming to a stop and accelerating from stop when operating gently on the front passenger side. Not sure how to exactly describe the noise, but sounds like half popping. Not grinding or screeching. Sounds like the something is slightly resisting to go or stop if that makes sense to you.

The rotor and pads have been replaced couple months ago, and axles were changed as well recently. The noise came prior to changing these.

My mechanic looked into it briefly when changing oil but did not see anything out of the ordinary. What do you think the noise could come from?

On another unrelated note, does anyone know how to take apart the trim under the steering wheel. There's something rolling around and I need to take it apart to see what it is.

Thanks in advance.

Check the suspension bushings.

Sounds like the CV joint. Does the noise increase and decrease with speed? Sometimes if the CV boot is torn even a little bit the grease can spin out of it and cause it to fail.

I wanted to provide a quick update, and it was actually the compliance bushing and another bushing in the lower control arm making the noise.
Thank you!
