No power @ 2,000-3,000 RPM's

My 08' TLS currently has 68,000 miles. I've changed the air filter every 15,000 miles & always put premium gas in it. Oil & filter is changed every 5,000 miles with synthetic. I've added a bottle of seafoam to the tank every 10,000 miles or so. I've noticed lately that taking off from a dead stop the car bogs up to about 3,000 RPM's or and then it surges as if a turbo is kicking in, and I have the pedal floored. It's annoying pulling onto a highway. I've never replaced the fuel filter or PCV valve. Any thoughts what this could be? There is no check engine light either. I know that without a fault code it is difficult to find the problem, I mentioned this before to the dealer & mechanic said it's fine. It's NOT FINE. It didn't run like this when I bought it new.

with 68K on the car, when's the last time you changed the Automatic Transmission Fluid? If you have a 6MT sound like your clutch is slipping...

welcome to the club ive been trying to get rid of that problem for a long time. Heat soak contributes to it a lot, hot weather as well. I cant even do a burnout if i wanted to. It is always very week until about 3500 rpms. And i have couple of good bolt ons. If i have fun driving she does all right but regular driving kills me as she feels so heavy...

3,500 RPM's that's when the power kicks in! I was driving the car for 45 minutes, then idled at a car dealership for 5 minutes, then I stopped & got gas, when I pulled out it was a dead pedal up to 3,500 RPM's.

try to put an octane booster next time you fill up. I use the one from lucas, its about 10 bucks and cures the problem temporary....
