A while back I had to raise the engine a bit while working on it. I used the hanger on the passenger side, and looped a tie down strap around the intake manifold where it connects to the throttle body on the driver side. Loosened the engine mounts and lifted a few inches. Got it all back together and cruise control does not work. The steering wheel button will turn the light on the dash on/off but cruise control just doesn't work. I replaced the throttle body with a junkyard pull, replaced the APP sensor/assembly (also junkyard pull) and checked all related fuses but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

 

Try checking the #8 pedal stopper pad for the #6 stop & cruise switch assembly on the link below:

Everything appears to be normal. Stoppers not missing and switch appears to move normally.
