I have less than 500 miles on my TL. During the first week, I had a dead battery. I wrote that off to spending ~30 minutes in the garage the day before programming the radio, navigation system and door openers. That has not repeated.

Later, one of the garage door buttons started opening both garage doors. This did not begin happening immediately after programming but several days later. Thinking I had made a mistake when programming, I erased and reprogrammed them again. The problem has repeated, again not right away but after several days. I do have rolling code openers but I have successfully progammed my MDX and a BMW so I think I am doing it correctly.

This morning I returned to my locked, parked car and found the right rear window fully down. Obviously, that REALLY bothers me. I had not opened any of the windows and think I would have noticed an open window while driving beforehand.

Are these problems coincidental or do I have a bizarre electrical problem that would explain all three? I will be out of town for several days but plan to take it to the dealer when I return. In the meantime, any ideas?

 

sounds like an electrical issue.

 

sounds like somebody messing with you. been there, done that. make sure you keep both keys/fobs with you for a few days to be sure...hehe
