I just bought some new tail lights and side markers for my 2004 TL. I am now a bit confused on how to install these lights. Is it true you HAVE to remove the rear bumper just to change the tail lights? If anyone has instruction on how to install either one of these can you please send it to me or even email me at orlandom727@hotmail.com. I appreciate any help.

 

I too am looking for instructions on how to replace the rear side marker lights.........ANYONE?

 

Forget it, I found some

 

go thru trunk, remove the lining, and press the two tabs inward TOWARDS the sidemarker and they should pop RIGHT out.

tail lights, you don't have to remove the whole thing, just remove so much so that you have access to the two bolts under the tail light behind the bumper.
