New Rack

I just had my rack and pinion replaced a few days ago, it should be noted that its not a brand new rack and pinion from the dealer but it is from a rear ended TL whose rack and pinion was unharmed/undamaged. I must say it is a 120% improvement as after the collision i could barely move the steering wheel. Now my question is, i drove my car tonight but it still feels as though the steering is a little tight than normal so is there something here? Is there a certain break in period for this rack and pinion to adapt to my car and then become normal or is it already supposed to be normal since its already been used? Any info would be appreciated.

a bad p/s pressure switch can cause a stiffer than normal steering condition. ive seen this a few times and it can be difficult to detect since it doesn't throw and tcs/vsa codes.

its the green sensor on the p/s hose on the pass side of the car where the rubber part of the hose turns to hard line.

on a more obvious note; what kind of p/s fluid is in there now? did they use genuine honda fluid? a p/s flush may not be a bad idea...
