New Owner 05 6MT, Any 'Quality Of Life' Tips?
Bought it about 3 weeks ago at 75k miles, bought it the same day the dealer got it as a trade in, got incredibly lucky with the timing of it all.
I'm wondering if there's any just basic QOL tips?
I've noticed there's probably supposed to be a cup holder lid which mine does not have. It has a cracked dash but that seems normal for a lot of cars granted it's lived in south Texas its whole life. I also have a VSA light on and have already determined it not to be any common fix that most people report back with. The NAVI hidden system has the yaw sensor screen and it seems to be working fine, drives fine, I will continue to look into this as time goes on. I replaced the belt tensioner as it was kinda clicking intermittently. 3rd gear is a little funny shifting into gear sometimes, doesn't have that issue of popping out of gear.
I've already restored the head lights with 3 stages of wet sanding and they look practically brand new.
Other than that the car is a breeze, everything is incredibly original and in great condition. I intend on getting some bluetooth adapter for the radio soon as well.

Attached, for your information, is the TSB regarding the third gear if you are interested.

Cup Holder Cover - the glue eventually fails and it starts to come apart. Mine has been "missing" for many years now. I forget that it even had one until I see threads like this. Just do not miss it all.
3rd gear - For sure give the SMFM a shot. It smoothed out my shift engagement notchiness big time.
There are other things that can be done if you want to and have the time and motivation to do it. Lots of threads on here that talk about the clutch delay valve delete that some like to do. I haven't done it...but I don't really drive mine hard at all and way too lazy to do it.

Yeah I've read plenty about the bypass for the valve but I don't see much issue with using it but I'm sure if I'm bored one day I'll sort it out of there.
