Recently just bought s 2004 Acura TL and both headlights were out with no bulbs. I recently ordered DS2 8000k Diamond Blue Xenon bulbs and aside from taking the bumper off and the headlights I put the bulbs in and only the right one works, How can I trouble shoot? Is it a bad ballaster on the left side? or maybe a bad bulb? not sure what to do but I cannot drive at night because of this. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

So you think I should just go ahead and buy a ballast? I was thinking used if I had too.

 

Figuring it out is not that hard - start with post #22 in the following link. Its for an RDX, but all HID headlamps have only the BULB, the BALLAST, and the IGNITOR. Swap them one-at-a-time to determine which is the bad item of the three.

Turn your fogs on at night, not the greatest but it should keep you from getting pulled over and ultimately provides some light in front of you.
