Need some help and or advice . Please take a read

Swapped out old engine and transmission and put in new transmission and engine. But reprogramming the ecu was a nightmare went through three before I finally got a brand new one an it started functioning. It's riding a bit rough but I read that that's normal for a few days. But my question to advanced acura guys out there and please mind my ignorance as I am not that into cars and know a lot but will I or should I be experiencing anything put of the norm for a few days after the swap and reprogrammed ecu?
I'll appreciate any advice or tips or responses. Thank you

Im not an acura tech, but that does not sound right to me. We need some more info tho. Did you put in a used engine and transmission? Was the donor car from a different model or year? What was wrong before you swapped it? Eleborate on what you mean as "running rough". Vibrations, misfire, lack of power?

You shouldnt be having any issues. After all that it should be running in tip top shape and if it is not I would be complaining for them to make it perfect.

I have two 2005 tls and I used one engine from one on to another. The transmission I swapped in was basically new only had 21k miles on it but it just shakes a bit driving it a bit more it started to dim down a bit less but I seen on some other acura forums and online that it takes a bit for the ecu to get use to the transmission so it'll run rough but yeah if it continues for to long best believe I'm taking it back to them till they fix it correctly no shakes

Oh an it just shakes a bit of vibration. Haven't had my car in a month so I'm not quite sure if it's lacking power as of now

Okay, that will help, maybe someone else will chime in. Let us know how it goes over the next couple days. Try to pinpoint what causes the vibration. RPM related, speed related, throttle related, does it go away after it heats up, stuff like that.

The motor mounts may be loose or bad! There are 3 motor mounts, front rear and passenger side. Then there are also the trans mounts! Neutralize the mounts by making them finger tight, moving the car from P to R to D and back a few times. Then tighten the mounts to spec.

doing an engine swap does not mean you have to reprogram anything. are you sure you put in the right combo? The only thing that will happen when you do an engine swap is ecu will relearn idle.
