Need to Replace My seats
Where can I get replacement seats or replacement leather for my 04? I have the Tan leather and it is trashed beyond belief. Everything else on the car for the most part is perfect but the front seats look like doo doo. Can anybody help me with this?
Thanks

Katzkin

Took out the cloth interior in our 2008 Kia Optima, and installed the Katzkin leather, seats, door panels, arm rests, head rests, etc. Great quality and it can be custom ordered to specific specifications.

As the OE interior seat product/quality leaves a lot to be desired, thought you might have wanted something a little less expensive and better quality, but you can always recover both front seats with the OE "leather":
Each seat:
Bottom $642/$482
Back $642/$482
So the total to redo both front seats $2568 list, $1928 discount.
If aftermarket companies, such as Katzkin, has the TL listed for their product, the entire vehicle would only run around $800/$1000.
I had the Katzkin installed in our 2008 knock around vehicle, the leather quality can't be beat and the cost was $1400 for everything. Arm rests, head rests, door panels, front and rear seats, all installed.

Turbonut is correct. For what it costs to get the OEM leather for just the front seats, you can re-cover the entire interior, in two tone center-perf'd leather with a custom TL logo stitched in the headrests if you want, and still have money left over to buy something expensive with.
Also, even if you get the OEM leather, it's going to be a different color from the leather in your car right now. Not only will the dye lot be different (each dye lot has slight variations in color, which is why it's hard to match non-black fabrics and leathers if you don't match the dye lots) but the past 6 years of sunlight have faded your interior a bit.

Have you asked your dealership for "good will" consideration? I had mine done just shy of 50K miles. Granted, that's within the warranty period, but the service manager implied that Acura has been granting a fair number of good will seat cover replacements. It never hurts to ask...

I have camel interior too.. real cheap ass material if you ask me, plus it's a dirt magnet.. The best route is to take your car to a professional upholstery shop to get it cured, sanded & dyed / painted. It'll probably set you back 50 a seat depending on how bad it is.
