my A/C is having problems so i went ahead and ran a self diagnostic test:
ignition on
hold off button
press recirculation button 5 times
wait a minute...

im getting this error code and need to decipher it so i can solve the problem. thanks

EDIT: here is the method i followed for the diagnostic test. the error code flashed between between 88 so im supposing there IS a fault somewhere in the system

btw i just noticed something funny.. coincidence or not? according to the letter representation of my error it spells KILN.. which is like an oven, kinda like my car without A/C.. hmmm kinda creepy

Looks like L-N:
L-An open in the passenger's air mix control motor circuit
N-A problem in the passenger's air mox control linkage, door, or motor

And the I-K is the same problems on the driver's side.

thanks for the input guys.

does anyone happen to know how to fix these issues? i have no idea what to do when it comes to troubleshooting an A/C so im not sure what the mix control motor circuits etc. are.

do i need to take it to a shop or is this a simple fix to DIY? is it expensive, etc.
