need help, fried wire maybe?

Hey guys I was installing the tablet on my car everything was working well, after I cut the wires from the 4 plugs behind the HVAC to extend it. After I did that I installed it into the car plugged in everything to test and I notice that when I open the door the lights dont turn on and where you turn the left side of the steering wheel to turn on the headlights doesnt work either. My key fob dont work doesnt even respond to lock or unlock. I am able to start the car and when I do the headlights turns on, radio works but the screen doesn't and the controls for it doesnt work either. So I was looking for some suggestions what can I done wrong? did I fry a wire or something.
Any help would be great.

look over your work. With all the problems your noticing, it sounds like something has been left unhooked, or shorted. Make sure your connections are good, and the the extended wires are paired correctly at both ends. did you leave anything disconnected?

hope you can get this figured out. I had a similar instance where i was doing my audio build and disconnected my ACC fuse #32 (and forgot about it). When i finish my build, I started my car and my radio wasnt working, my car wouldnt go in gear, etc..
