Need help with diagnosis

I'm driving along and all of a sudden it starts sputtering like it's about to shut down. I get to my destination and go to leave and it barely starts. It just cranked and cranked and finally started. All the way home it was sputtering so bad that at stop lights i had to give it gas just to keep it running. I don't know if it would've cut off but it felt like it would have. No codes or anything.

Watch live data, fuel trims, o2 readings. Check fuel pressure.

Something is missing from the equation and you need to figure out what.

I'm thinking MAF. I don't want to throw parts at it but on a previous vehicle the symptoms were exactly whats occuring now and it was the MAF but on the that car it threw a MAF code. This one hasn't shown me anything.

Before you change any parts, you might pull off your EGR valve and ensure it isn’t partially stuck in the open position by any carbon bits or debris lodged in there.

Maybe also check the ribbed part of the intake tube, they are known to crack after a long time.

That's what it was. When i unbolted it and pushed on the bottom i felt it brake loose. Cleaned it up with some throttle body cleaner and it's back to running great.
