i searched and couldint find anyone with the same problem as me...soo if anyone can help ill really apreciate it.

i have a 02 tl-s and sometimes when i stop at a light and then i start goin again the car will start sputterin for like 2-3secs but none of the lights flash on the cluster or anything it happens like once in a while not everyday not all the time i did change all the sparkplugs and that did not help can anyone help pls!! car has 118k miles

 

Motor mounts, EGR, O2, may need a fuel system treatment.

 

make sure the vac line to the FPR doesn't have a leak. I had a hole in my FPR vac line once and it took me FOREVER to figure out what was causing the same problem you had. at very low throttle movement the small hole allowed enough air in that the diaphragm on the FRP wasn't affected. After a second or 2 into acceleration the vacuum began to effect to effect the FPR and fuel was delivered again. My fuel trim was WAY up due to this, but I didn't run rich as the lower fuel pressure had to balanced out by longer pulse widths.

 

that makes some sense because i think the car is wasting quite a bit more gas then its supost to thanx guys i will check on that asap and let you know

 

i mean i really doubt its the same problem i had, ive never heard of it happening before. i just threw it out there in case one of kris' suggestions doesn't work. His suggestions are a lot more realistic and common to be honest

 

i did the fuel system clean i still have the problem and its getting on my nerves so let me try and explain it again it seems to hapen lets say i i come to a quick stop and then when i take off i startin rollin and it seems that it does it and then it shifts to the next gear almost like if its a vibration from the motor rokkin bak but feels like a misfire pls help guys!!!

 

i got no CEL lights no lights come on or blink when this hapens and it hapens for like 2 secs and stops.my next step is to clean the egr valve but the cel light is not even on or anything?can the egr still be bad or need a clean up?
