I think he means cv joints are done- at least one is and you replace the entire axle unit with 2 new joints/bearings with new boots on them and a new axle shaft
if you abuse the car doing burnouts or hit a lot of potholes that eats those bearings
Its about the most common part wearout on fwd cars~
1 hour labor to replace
also ck the ball joints and sway bar end links
Have a local shop-brake and suspension shop look at it
NOT a big brand name place with corp office to satisfy about upsells and minimum charges etc,,,over the customers actual needs..get it???

Depends on where you get it done, and the replacement part, OE part or aftermarket.
