Your axels are cracked. I have been through about 4 sets so far. Mostly from excessive wheel hop/take off or a lot of bumpy roads.

I think he means cv joints are done- at least one is and you replace the entire axle unit with 2 new joints/bearings with new boots on them and a new axle shaft

if you abuse the car doing burnouts or hit a lot of potholes that eats those bearings
Its about the most common part wearout on fwd cars~
1 hour labor to replace

also ck the ball joints and sway bar end links
Have a local shop-brake and suspension shop look at it
NOT a big brand name place with corp office to satisfy about upsells and minimum charges etc,,,over the customers actual needs..get it???

Depends on where you get it done, and the replacement part, OE part or aftermarket.

OE part:
44306-SDB-A00 ACURA TL L. DRIVESHAFT ASSY. 2006 TL $322.72 $242.04

Aftermarket:
Rock Auto for example
CARDONE SELECT Part # 664221 {New}Front Left
$49.89

Add an hour minimum for labor, independant $75.00, dealer $125.00
