NBP paint code?

So Ive had my 06 TL for about a month now and the only remedy for all those rock chips on the front end of my car is a new paint job. so im taking it in tomorrow to have the bumper, hood and fenders repainted B92P but im alittle nervous bc apparently theres like 5 types of B92P for the NBP? is there any more numbers I need in order to get the closest possible match? how many layers of clear coat is sufficient for long term protection ? any advice is greatly appreciated!

If you're getting a new paint job on the front end, I would consider getting a 3M Clear Bra installed too.

Just curious, how many miles on the car, and any accidents by previous owners?

I purchased the car with 80K miles on it. The car fax was clean. The guy at the body shop said it looked like the hood might of been repainted as the pattern of specs is nto really typical of rock chips it more or less looks like the paint was so thin its just wearing away. It basically looks like specs of dust all over the hood. im going to take pictures of it if i can figure out how to upload on this page. Im curious if this is a typical acura/honda paint job?

That's what I was getting to. Normally factory paint is pretty duable, but a repaint if not done properly, can be trouble. I've got 67,000 on the WDP which is heavier than the darker colors, but I've only had a couple of nicks to touch up.
Good luck.
