Navigation shows disc error and rear sub doesn't work?

So it's been a month since I've gotten my car back from the shop. They had to replace my dash while it was there. From the first day when I got my car back, my navigation shows a "Please wait. Now downloading software." as soon as it starts up. After a few seconds, it shows another message saying "Please check your disc."

I asked one of the service advisors if it could be a connection issue and they said they would have to have a tech look at it.

I try putting my mom's navi disc from an 07-08 MDX and it showed the same thing hoping that I could narrow it to a disc issue (I'm desperate what can I say.)

Also, my rear deck doesn't work. Sub nor speakers. Does anyone know what could be the issue before I bring it to a tech?

Have your navigation dvd player repaired by alpine, should fix that, I just got mine back, had the same errors and now it works.
There are some threads about how exactly to go about it. But basically call them and ask and they will give instructions, its $158

did u get into a accident?? when i got rear ended my navi player in the back was effected idk how but it did, i took my car to the body shop got it back in about 1 month to get the front end and rear repaired from the accident. when i got it back my navi would sometimes take longer to load and little by little it stoped working giving me the same message it gave you, my insurance coverd for the repair, they had it sent out to a company to get fixed, i guess the impact made the parts inside the unit move.

No that is just to fix the navigation, I guess if they could somehow be related it wouldnt fix, but it seems to be fairly common the have the disc not reading error for navi and sending to alpine seems to work for everyone there are a few threads about it

Bump! Any ideas to trouble shoot whether or not there is a connection issue to the rear speakers? I checked my stock amp and everything seems to be connected fine...

Oh and correction, my whole rear deck does not work, not just the sub.
