Hi there,

I have a 2005 TL and this morning when I turned the car on this happened to me:
Screen doesn't turn on and top display does not show any radio signal digits or anything other than thermometer and clock.
I checked and changed the necessary fuses in internal and external box and I even disconnected the battery.
Now my navigation system is locked and I have no screen to unlock it.

please if anyone have a solution let me know!

take it to the dealer, and i hope it is still under warranty???

 

unfortunately its not under warranty anymore.
when I eject the Navi CD of the DVD Player in trunk and put it back in , I don't hear any noise or loading, and display its just black. I pull the battery connections to reset the settings and unfortunately the navi is locked and I can't even get the display to work and enter the code.


this is driving me crazy.

 

Yesterday morning when I turn my car on , I got the navi Screen back and it asked for my security code. After I entered the code , started searching for GPS connection and suddenly went all black again. I thought it might be some lose wiring so I opened the front console and I disconnected all wiring and reconnected back again , NOTHING happened! and I did the same thing for the dvd navi player in the trunk but no luck on that as well!!

it's very strange now that I got it back on then went black again. It's pissing me off.

please if somebody experienced the same thing or might have any suggestion let me know. right now is not a good time for me in term of financial so I really want to get it fix myself or at least with lowest cost possible.

I have the same problem.

The screen went blank one day.
I can't eject the dvd in the trunk.
music worked but after i disconnected the battery the anti-theft engaged and can't get back in.
Hope i can fix it somehow instead of dealer.
dvd unit bad?
