But obviously you dont want to run the engine for a long time when the fluid is drained out.
Thanks for the screenshot, Chad!

I was always skeptical of turning the engine on while turning the wheel. Do you know if it is okay to just turn the key into Accessory mode? (Or whatever the key position before ignition is) The steering wheel can move in that position when It's on jacks from what I remember.

Also, what does "Fast idle" mean?

Fast idle means rev it up a little bit. Like 1500 rpm or maybe 2k I guess. I dont think Fast idle is any specific number.

Accessory mode , without the engine on, will not circulate the fluid.

But yes, it would help a lot to raise the car , or at least lift it to take "some" of the weight off the tires so you can turn the steering wheel easier while the fluid is circulating. In fact, I am wondering why they didn't mention to raise the car. I will definitely raise my car when I do mine. I did a camaro once, and I think it gave instructions to lift the front wheels off the ground.

Pressure Check. If the pump is not providing adequate pressure, it's time for a replacement. Fortunately, the pump is on top.

I did this flush this weekend. Sort of my own way I guess. But It can be modified to use only Honda fluid, which might reduce the complexity somewhat but it would cost a bit more.
And there is probably a faster method to evac any fluid in the reservoir but the trigger pump works ok..
