i drive 2007 acura tl type s
i was driving and when i stopped in the traffic.
suddenly i started to here humming sound from the car.
and rpm was going down like the engine is about to go off
and after i press the accel, i started to here booming sound like exploding sound
and enigine light turned on.
i think the sound is coming from under the engine.

can anyone tell me what's wrong?

you can take your vehicle to an auto parts store and ask them to read the codes with a scanner tool.
once you have obtained these codes, post them here.

these codes will let us know what is going on with your car.

 

i want to take my car to the near auto parts store, but the exploding sound is really loud and it smells like something is burning, when i turn on my car. i think im going to tow my car to the near mechanic shop.

by the way, i looked up the website, came up with the "engine back fires"
could this problem leads to this exploding sound?
(it actually sounds like "bah bah bah..."

 

Have you run the car with the hood open to see where the sound may be coming from? Have you checked the oil to see if you are low? Do you have any trailing smoke from the tail pipes? What color?

 

yep, i'd also immediately check all fluid levels.

 

i opened the hood and turn my car on.
and my engine was shaking up and down like crazy. and making a popping sound.
and white smoke starts to come out from engine.

 

...Sounds like it should be towed to someone capable of diagnosing it further.
