if the pedal doesnt return all the way up you might want to look into your master cylinder as well.

^well, I believe what he is trying to say is that the clutch pedal sticks after a hard RPM run.
I experienced this.
and tried a lot of remedies.

the only one that worked was changing out the clutch.
I believe this feeling was attributed to the pressure plate.

Well the car acts normal after a while but it feels like something gets jammed when the clutch acts up, i would think if it was the clutch the tranny will slip but it doesn't

On a related note, how long (rated) is the oem clutch good for? Just in general.

the clutch is a wear and tear item.
with that being said, the clutch can last the life time of the car if operated correctly.

Does this only happen AFTER a HIGH RPM run?

ez12a might be right, please check the master cylinder to see if your fluid is topped off.

if treated right, well over 100k. I would venture to say average, 125-150k.

I would check the clutch fluid. If it's low, there is most likely a leak. After more research, it seems either or both slave and master cyl can cause a limp pedal.
