Moonroof oddity

Does anyone else notice that after parking in the sun for hours(like when you're at work)and open the moonroof,it sounds like the motor is working very hard to push the roof down before it slides back? I've tried using silicone on the rubber, but it still sounds the same. Any other tricks? Thanks in advance.

Your channels need grease. I had the same problem, dealer greased the channels and the sunroof is quiet again.
