Minor Scratches

I never thought in my entire life that I would ever become so anal about my car. I somehow managed to get some minor scratches in the clear coat a few days ago how I managed to do that still blows my mind. Anyways I spent all day trying to get them out or make them less noticeable. I washed it and tried some scratch-x and some other different types of scratch removers didn't seem to work. It doesn't look bad, its hardly noticeable but like I said maybe I am overreacing or making a big deal about it over nothing. Is there anything else I might able to try besides what I've already tried? Any suggestions would be much appreicated.

If you can't feel the scratches with your finger then you should use a fine buffing compound either by hand or with a buffer machine. If you CAN feel them with your finger then the area needs to be lightly sanded with 1000+ grit sandpaper and then buffed out with the compound. Be aware that this is only if there is no damage to the basecoat.

Sincerely,

-Mike
