Metal on metal grinding sound when turning *video*
Hi Guys
I took off my winter tires this weekend as well as did a 3x1 trans refill, and I've now noticed this grinding sound when I turn while moving. It seems to be coming from the front left.
Seems to happen regardless if im on the brakes or not.
I changed my power steering fluid a couple months ago, as well as had my compliance bushings replaced.
Not sure if this was caused by me changing tires, but I've only noticed it afterwards:
See video below:

Have your front suspension/knuckle checked out?

Actually... listening again, it MAY be your brake's heat shield. I've had that happen before. You'll have to be our eyes though.

Oh man
ok so I jacked the car up to take a look and the front driver wheel had a lot of play when i pushed it around... Took it off and the whole assembly was loose:
So I guess that extra play caused the rotor to grind against the pads when i was turning, which caused the noise - it would also explain the car pulling around when on uneven surfaces that I thought i was feeling soooo...
I think this means I have a bad bearing... and other opinions?
Will take it to the shop and get it fixed Monday, don't think i can do it myself as i wasn't able to get the suspension fork bolt off to do the compliance bushings

Yup its your bearing, the wheel should have no play and you can check it by use one hand in the 12 oclock and the hand in the 6 oclock position and rock it back and forward. The wheel should be solid, if not then your wheel bearing is bad and need replaced.

Replace the side that goes bad only, unless you have extra money to burn.

good once I saw the video of the rotor shaking I already know its the bearing.
