Messed up my grill.. in need of advice !!!

Some of you might have seen my thread asking what my dad should upgrade to from his BMW. We're looking at moving some cars so it came up that we might sell the 3g. I wasn't apposed to it, because honestly as a teen with the mod bug, the 3g isn't necessarily in my budget to mod haha. I did sink close to a grand into. But anyways

So I was looking at returning it to that stock look. I have a NBP, and I vinyl wrapped the top and lower silver parts of the grill. I decided to take it off, just because it had some wrinkles and I thought you know better retail value to the general public. Wellll as I was peeling it off a big part of the paint came off with it!

PICS

I haven't even peeled off the other piece yet as you can see. Sooo should I.. re-vinyl it black? vinyl it silver? paint it? im distraught i hate when something goes wrong. It all went smoothly until everything was back in place except those two pieces and now im more mad then ever.

Re wrap it or get a new trim pice. You could try plastidip also if you remove bubbled area. Honestly if its a good wrap job the dealer may not even notice.

We would try to sell person to person. Which is kinda dumb that I took the wrap off in the first place. Do you know how much a trim piece would be?

edit: I'm seeing 48$ on OEM acura parts.. looks like wrapping it would be easier

That my friend is a good question.
I always have been fond of civics, but only the 6th/8th gen coupes. And the 6th is too old for my parents to buy me. I would kill for an em1! But its not an option. Im looking more into an RSX or Civic coupe with low miles. Prefferably around 80k-90k.

Otherwise I really don't know of any cars that offer some good body lines to work with, great aftermarket support, decent hp, and still give good mpg.

Haha you don't know how long I've been waiting to use that! Different context, but it still fit.

i'll try my best! Where I live not many cars go for sale as compared to charlotte or atlanta so most cars are rare or overpriced unless I go out of my way which i might have to

If your going to get something to mod get something with RWD, you wont regret it. I have been down the 400+ wph road with a turbo Civic and it was a complete waste of time. Get a used 350z or 240sx. You can get nice ones for just as much as a 6/8th get civic and they are way better cars!

Oh, and just wrap the grille! HAHA
