Talking Memory Seats & Mirrors

Hi Guys,

Memory Seats and Mirrors randomly stopped working. They work manually but they dont adjust to my settings when I first enter the car.

I looked at the manual, checked the fuses and haven't seen anything blown. Any ideas?

Does the MIL still say Welcome Driver X? If not, your remote was probably unlinked. There are instructions on the back on the remote to relink it.

I have the same problem. I haven't found a solution. Mainly because I haven't really done anything about it.

replace your mirror actuators
might as well replace both of them
the work together with memory system
common thing to fail and cause memory system issues

I too just experienced the same problem when i went to program the seats, then the door remote just stopped working all together.

Also, if i have the mirror select switch set to center and i put my car in reverse, the drivers side mirror doesnt set back into the original position when i shift into drive.

any ideas? same problem as op?

Hi guys, I have a similar problem, the memory seat works when it wants to and the mirrors only bottom and to the right no left or up, replaced both switches and still doing same thing, checked car for any wires touching or anything and couldn't find anything, after unplugging the connector on door and put back on memory seat was working for a bit then it stopped again.

Pull fuse #20 in the inside fuse box by the driver's left knee-- it should be a 7.5 Amp-- and replace it with a 10 Amp fuse per the TSB issued several years ago. It's a pretty common issue.

I had the same problem a day ago when I started messing around with my mirrors... The lesson to be learned is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

I replaced my mirror actuator by the way and that solved OPs issue
