The past couple of days, when I pull into the garage after driving home, I have noticed a bad melting plastic smell coming from the engine bay. I have looked thought he engine, under the car at the exhaust, in the wheel wells, and smelled everywhere my nose would fit and I can't pinpoint the problem. I thought it may be a wire somewhere making contact with the engine but I can't find anything. It's not a bag caught up under the car. I took it to my mechanic yesterday and so far he can't find it either. Any others ever have this issue? Runs perfect, not overheating, idles great, shifts great. 50k miles on the car. I'm stumped on this one

Did you get the power steering line recall done?

It was recalled b/c the line was laying across the manifold.
