To many issues right after another:(
sorry to hear of the problems you are having-hope they are solved soon. Many times when I take my tsx to the acura dealer for normal maintenance I request a loaner car. I keep it overnight since the dealer is allentown Pa and I am in toms river nj. that dealer requires you to be 25 and older for loaner cars.

Hey quick question. Can my car fall under lemon law even if it's a used car? I bought this car CPO from eb Acura dealer . With warranty, this car has failed to meet the standards and quality. Who can I contact in order to submit my case?
call: 1-800-Lemon Law (Kimmel and Silverman) found it by going to the NJ lemon law website

from what i skimmed on the NJ lemon law link provided above pertains to "new motor vehicles" under original manufacturer's warranty.
from the link posted above:
"The Legislature finds that the purchase of a new motor vehicle is a major, high cost consumer transaction and the inability to correct defects in these vehicles creates a major hardship and an unacceptable economic burden on the consumer. It is the intent of this act to require the manufacturer of a new motor vehicle to correct defects originally covered under the manufacturer's warranty which are identified and reported within a specified period. It is the further intent of this act to provide procedures to expeditiously resolve disputes between a consumer and a manufacturer when defects in a new motor vehicle are not corrected within a reasonable time, and to provide to award specific remedies where the uncorrected defect substantially impairs the use, value, or safety of the new motor vehicle."
"If a consumer reports a nonconformity in a motor vehicle to the manufacturer or its dealer during the first 18,000 miles of operation or during the period of two years following the date of original delivery to a consumer, whichever is earlier, the manufacturer shall make, or arrange with its dealer to make, within a reasonable time, all repairs necessary to correct the nonconformity. Such repairs if made after the first 12,000 miles of operation or after the period of one year following the date of original delivery to the consumer, whichever is earlier, shall be paid for by the consumer, unless otherwise covered by a manufacturer's warranty, and shall be recoverable as a cost under section 14 of this act."

awesome.....did you use the code BATX to save 25% on your battery ?
This is how i deal with AAP: go there and have them check the battery for free....if you need a battery then pull out your phone and order ONLINE using the coupons (BATX, BIG30, BIG50, etc)....they get the order almost immediately and then they install the battery right there
....
they know i have coupon codes so now they tell me, how was is your total online ?....i tell them the total and they price match it

i think AAP and Autozone are the same companies
lol....all their parts and prices and coupons are the same LOL....the Autocraft GOLD battery which i got for my girls lexus has the same stuff....3 years replacement warranty and 7 year prorated warranty....for 108 bucks....put the 25% discount and walked out paying like 85-90 bucks including the shitty 8.6% Kansas sales tax
I called and I was told that if the car has been tried to be fixed 3 times and still has the same problem it would fall under lemon law. In my case I bought the car CPO, and with an extended warranty, and when I bought the car it still had the manufacturing warranty. They told me the car had no issues and certified the car. So this is basically fraud because they sold me something that is not. If I bought the car as is it would be a different story. But since I didn't I got a fighting chance.
You could take them to court and depending on the amount it will determine what court will see you. But as in many of these cases, the legal fees are going to exceed the benefit amount.
With all the problems you've had though I feel for you. Hope things go your way whichever it might be.
If they can't find the cause, hook up a multimeter, close the hood and start wetting the car down with a hose, but go one area at a time and watch the MM. When it registers a significant draw, pull fuses to see what circuit is impacted, then you'll know the area in which to look.

WHITE_ANGEL....
if you are really considering moving on, i suggest trading it in for a Type S, or a different car....if you go with a different car, you can part out the stuff and get a different car....
else just cough up the diagnostic fee....i would take the car thro a car wash and then take it to the dealer to see if the problem repeats itself....

I called the water doctor company who fixed the leak the first time and theyre going tmrw to go look at might car. Also I got a call from lemon law. I spoke to this lady and explained my situation and she said I deff have a case. I faxed her all the job sheets from the Acura dealer of all the jobs they've done for me which is about 30 with out including maintence. She's speaking to an attorney who will take my case.
Just because of the first repair they did to my car of ripping the whole interior apart to fix the air bag harness 3 days after I bought the car. They sold me a car knowing it had all these issues and they did a hell of a good job covering it up.
Right now my car is completely fine and running said the Acura advisor after they jump started it. So I told them leave it outside tonight and try to turn it on tmrw night before you guys leave see if it will turn on. It's suppose to rain tmrw. Now they will get a chance to experience whats been happening to me. I hope the car spazzes out tmrw like never before that way I can blow up in there face with a big I TOLD YOU SOOO!
So here's The update. Just got of the phone with the Acura dealer. The sun roof drain was clogged up
they cleared up the sunroof drain put a new fusebox in (4th) fusebox I go thru. And wrapped this on up in plastic. All covered under warranty

Hey so I just tried to pop up my trunk and it wouldn't work from inside the car but from the key fob it does. Did they leave something unplugged? Perhaps something I can just plug in so I don't have to take the car back to them?

VWs have the same drain issues in the sunroof but only worse and it causes the same issues.
Any time you drive with it open it can pull in fine crud and it sits in the channels ... eventually water will carry the crud down the drain lines and deposit it .. eventually plugging it.

One of the drains in my VW plugged and in the 4 years I had it I bet it wasn't opened an hour in total.
That's tru. I wish there was a way to modify it where it doesn't go any where near the fusebox
