Malfunction lamp blinking
My malfunction lamp blinks when i turn the key in the ON position. Blinks for like 5 secs after all the other indicator lights go out. This is before even starting the car. Is this normal??

You mean the one shaped like a key? I think it is normal for that to blink. I read something about it in the manual. I think mine blinks after I remove the key after turning it off.

Mine does not do that. You might have some fault codes stored.
If you had an active fault, the light would stay on, and flash if the problem is bad enough to ruin the catalytic converters.
Its not a good idea to start the car and not let it run for a bit, many cars have problems if you just start the engine and move the car out of the driveway, then shut it off, next start can flood the plugs out. Most cars can do this in cold weather.
Bad gas, water in the gas, loose gas cap, lots of things can set a code....
