Malfunction Indicator Lamp On?

When I started my car's engine today, I notice that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp was on and I didn't know what could have caused it. I'm driving a 07 TL-S with barely 13 K miles on it. I did notice that the fuel was extremely but I dont think that have anything to do with it.? What can I do to fix this and what could have caused it?

You noticed that fuel was extremely _____________??? Did you mean to say "low"

if that's the case, and if youre below 3 gallons of fuel, you'll get the MIL light .. also tighten your gas cap with at least 5 clicks. The MIL will either go away on its own after a few trips, or you can take it to any Acura dealership, Autozone, pepboys and they can pull the code with the OBDII and let you know what it indicates -- the OBD codes are universal so they can refer you to the problem.

More details.. MIL can be a lot of things from electrical / sensors / gas cap... Do you have M/T or A/T and is the MIL staying on or did it just flash? Try to pull any DTC's. Does your exhaust smell rich in fuel? Any change in how she's running?
