I have 18in tires on my TL Type S with mags bought from the ACURA dealer. I hav had the mags for 18 months and they have begun to show black stain marks on them. I have tried everything to get these stains off without success.

I think that it may be a construction default. I took some photos but the stains do not really show in the photos.

Has anybody got any ideas?

Which wheels exactly? Black Chrome, Chrome or Sparkle Silver?

Did you get something on them? Brake Fluid, the wrong type of Wheel Cleaner/Chrome Cleaner, etc?

Or good ole brake dust from not cleaning the wheels enough .. that black dust can turn acidic once moist.
