1. Unbelievable performance from the Viper's brakes. It went from the worst brakes in the exotic groups last year, to the BEST! this year.

2. Three cars under 4 second 0-60 runs!!!

3. Three cars under 12 second 1/4 mile runs!!!

4. Look at that $50K Z06 beat the $250K 575M in the 0-100-0 test! Also in the 60-0 and 100-0 tests! I cant wait to see what the C6 Z06 will do.

5. 600 Ft slalom. Look at the EVO and even the Z06 get the 2nd and 3rd places!

6. The CL 55 AMG runs 187 mph top speed and when MT called Mercedes to tell them, Mercedes said, "of course...that is what we expected...we only took out one out of TWO speed limiters...the first one stops at exactly...187mph" !!!

7. Finally, too bad they could not get the full top speed of the cars due to track size issues.

Nice to see the fastest car here (and possibly the fastest/quickest and most agile street car in the country) use the LS6 engine from the Corvette Z06.

Damb, pretty cool.

Z06 isn't $50k, more like 60 right? Either way it's a good for the $.

I had no clue what a Mosler MT900 Photon was until now. Crazy.

EDIT: Just checked chevrolet's site. $52k (hardtop) interesting.

I still cannot believe the 13.08 that thing did. Anyway. The MSRP is 31K but if you find one less than 36 buy it yesterday.

Notice the higher trap speed of the Viper in the 1/4 mile compared to the Lambo. Which means that with slicks, the Viper would have been beating the Lambo's time (Lambo is AWD).

I'm a fan of Amerian cars and especially Vipers.

I think the one in the test did pretty well.

Actually, I was surprised at the11.7 quarter mile time. MotorTrend's numbers are always faster than the average mag, but still. I am sure it can do 11.9 or even 12 flat consistently. Which means that if there will be a coupe (pretty sure there will be one), I am guessing it will be half a second faster/quicker. So an 11.27, hypothetically, could be possible. Also, I would not be surprised to see the coupe make more power, either the first year of its production or the year after. A 50 HP increase would be pretty simple for this 8.3 liter, V10 engine. Then, watch out!
