Exclamation Lost preset & driver memory

I started my car and the radio presets were gone. Driver memory button was not illuminated. Thinking I just needed to program the FOB, I did, and programmed it for driver #1, as the FOB is marked for #1.

Presets are still gone, but the driver memory light now shows.

I tried the search but keep getting acurazine posts about a guy with the same problem, but with a buick

I know folks have had this problem before, sorry to ask for the help again, but I need it.

When you start the car does it say "welcome driver one"? If not you need to link the remote to the car.

Just out of curiosity, is it supposed to say "welcome driver 1"? Because mine shows "driver 1 detected" on my MID

My TL is a 07, my bad I should have mentioned it. It does not say 'welcome driver 1' like it used to, but if I adjust the seat and mirror and use the FOB to enter the car it will go to driver 1 setting, but my radio presets are still gone.

I have not had any battery problems what so ever.

I thought programming the FOB for #1 was linking it, is there another programming thing I have to do?

It goes to driver one upon reentering the car if before you get out you move the settings to driver two?

When I enter the car it does not say "welcome driver 1". But when I use FOB#2 it does say "welcome driver 2''.

How do I tell the car to recognize FOB#1 as driver number 1?

take it to the dealer...mine was losing my driver1 seat memory settings every few weeks. the dealer ended up replacing the main memory module since it was on the list of known "quirks" that acura supplies to the dealers with fixes.

Link the remote by holding down the lock and unlock button 'till the led blinks.

Common problem with TL.... the DPMS going bad. Driver Position Memory system, its mounted under the driver's seat.

If linking of the remote doesn't fix it.... there is a TSB with a new updated DPMS unit out there.
