looking to buy 2007 TL - what to look for?
I'm in the market for a 2007 TL (not a Type-S). Found one at a local Acura dealer -- 57Kms (about 35K mi). When I go back to take it for a drive is there something I should be aware of -- what to look for/listen for etc... I apologize in advance if this is the subject of a thread already on the board -- just signed up tonight. Thanks for the feedback
I just traded my 03 TL-S for an 07 TL. Take it for a test spin with a salesman and be sure to drive over some small bumps with the radio off. I've got the well known 'clunking' sound that comes from the rear shocks.. I never noticed before the purchase and have'nt had the time to fix it yet.
This thread is for the 07 Type S.. but mine has the same prob. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...light=clunking
Other than that I love the car.. Good luck

thanks for the feedback so far ... any others I would appreciate -- also I'm sure someone knows how much factory warranty these cars have and don't know if it's only in canada but they offer a "certified car" that has 160K powertrain warranty for pre-owned -- any feedback on that also appreciated
I just bought an '07 TL Navi in August. It was a CPO from an Acura dealer. 13.5k miles, silver with taupe interior, auto trans, $20900.00. Love it and think I got an incredible deal. I had to search quite a while to find the right TL for me.
Had an '05 TL no Navi that I sold 09/01/10 for $15200.00 with 68k miles. It was in pristine condition. Ironically, the newer car wasn't as clean as my '05. It is now. The '07 had some pretty bad curb rash on 3 of the wheels. Had those repaired for $100/each. Just updated my Navi DVD to 2011. Getting ready to add splash guards. Love it. Drives great, looks great and is great. Personally, I think the navigation transforms the car. Definitely consider getting it if you're in the market for an '07.
