I've been running DDM HID's 6000k for about a year now and I've ran into an issue. It started with the passenger side light firing right away when i start the car first thing in the morning, drive to work flip them off, then back on.. but then passenger side doesn't fire back up. This has been going on for about two weeks now. Now both HID's have the same issue. They seem to fire up fine when cold (not having been on for a while) and i can flip 'em on and off with no issues, but when they've been on for a while they don't want to re-fire up.

Now I thought I would get the pink eye if it was a bad bulb so not sure if its bulb, and I i don't know how to tell if its ballast or wiring... Any help/input from anyone with experience with similar problems would greatly help!!!

 

If they've worked for the whole previous year, you may just need new ballasts. Most aftermarket HID ballasts don't last to long. If they're under warranty still, I'd try and get new ones from DDM. From what I hear DDM is trying to get away from HID sources and going to LED's or something or other, so you may want to contact them soon.
