Just noticed last night - the "light" that is supposed to be on under my cruise control on/off button (06 TL - button on steering wheel) does not come on anymore. Cruise still works - this is some type of local problem - either light bulb out, or fiber optic loose? Anyone have this problem, and how is it fixed ? Thanks>

 

Bulb has burned out. Air bag needs to be pulled to get to the back of that switch. Some folks are replacing their bulbs with LEDs for longer life. The 3G Garage (it has it's own "sticky" in the main forum) has DIYs for removing the airbag and replacing those lights. You'll need a Torx T30 bit to remove the airbag screws. Use a 3/8" drive, not a 1/4" drive and be sure the bit is firmly seated in the screw head. Those screws have loctite on them and it's easy to strip the head if you're not careful.
