For light bulb dosen't match OEM

bought a 04' tl that the guy added the oem fog lights cause they didn't came with the car originally. he putted hid's but weren't working anymore so i've bought the oem bulbs (9006) but they won't clip into the fog, so they won't hold. compared both the oem and the hid's the guy putted and the "clips" aren't the same.

is there another model of the fog lights bulb witch would fit there?

i'm not able to post a pic of the hid base where it clips in the fog light.

Wait the owner said that the car didnt have fog lights?

The fog lights for the 04-06 model years are incorporated into the headlights.
So he added HIDs bulbs?

Maybe another member with the experience dealing with the fogs.

Please clarify if you are referring to the fogs that are part of the headlight assembly or additional fogs that were installed in the lower bumper.

Also if there were HIDs installed, it is doubtful you will be able to just swap back to regular bulbs without doing some more work. HIDs should have more electronics somewhere like a ballast/ignitor and such.

sorry about not clarifying.

the fog lights are NOT incorporated into the headlights. they are in the lower bumper.

and no worry for the wirring of the hid's, already made the work to plug the oem bulbs into.

If he added lower fogs into the bumper, and they are accord fogs, those take H11 bulbs. Not 9006...

There's your problem right there.
