Lift Supports

My shocks for my hood are dead and I need to buy some new ones. Should I buy ones from Honda/Acura or should I get some AM ones from Autozone or somewhere? Also, what is the part number for Acura?

You missed a new ongoing thread on the main 3G TL page: https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...pports-926882/.
It has all the info you need.

Go "aftermarket"-- Autozone has Sachs Stabilus struts (OEM maker, but warranted for life instead of 3 years like the OEM Honda part number versions), as does Rock Auto. I think Rock Auto and Amazon have Strong Arm lifts as well that some AZ members like.

I got the Sachs struts a couple of years ago from Autozone, and recommend those from whichever source ships cheaply.

Making out fine, now that the end is near -

It has to end soon, but we are closing in on the all time record for Boston. The snow we got last night was the heavy wet stuff and now it's raining and temps are climbing. This isn't a good combination for the roofs. Many collapses up to this point already and unfortunately likely to see more as rain adds to the weight.
