Left back door handle piece fell off.

Might see a lot of people having this issue.
The small plastic stuff is really easy to be broken.

How much would I pay for an OEM one?

I bought an extended warranty for my used car and I am wondering whether this can be in the warranty.

Thanks

It's about $10 - $15 part at the dealer parts desk.

Happens so often there is a TSB on it.

Here's the TSB page: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-technical-service-bulletins-tsbs-3g-garage-j-016-a-613659/

Read the instructions on TSB access, then find TSB 07-043.

It's pretty easy to install. The new one will come with this metal piece with it. Take that off and throw it away. Then you can snap the new piece on.

I think it's $25 at the dealer.

I think Bearcat is closer to the correct price for this. Since you have the extended warranty and there is a TSB on this issue, ask the dealer to replace it.

Call and see if the dealer has your part in stock so you can either get the part replaced under warranty or pick it up if it isn't covered.

The cap for a SSM rear door handle was @$17 at both Santa Monica Acura and Sierra Acura in Alhambra, and also out of stock at both places when one broke on my car. I got the cap from Sierra because it ordered the cap without me going in to pay first-- the parts guy said the part should have been in stock.
