how do i fix this? the latch on the right is loose.

 

I had the same problem, Pulled the box out and took it apart. The just tightened everything. Still has a slight rattle, i may just buy a new one.

Not sure what latch you are talking about but when my glove box was rattling, I took it apart, changed the cabin air filter since I was in there already, then tightened it all back up again real tight. No rattling from there in over 2 years.

 

you need to remove the glovebox and tighten the 3 bolts that hold the latch in place. the rear one is far back into the dash

 

+1 .. i had the most annoying rattle in the glovebox also. It almost seemed like it was the carbon trim piece that runs parallel with the glovebox. Had to take the glovebox down tighten the three bolts that hold the latch in place as stated above.. and havent had a rattle since. Hope that helps
