Hi I have a 2005 TL AT and I after I changed from my winter tires to my summer tires (which I've used last year) ... I'm getting a knocking sound while the car is coasting

When accelarating I get no sound .. its only when I reach a stable speed or let go of the throttle all together.

I'm thinking about taking it in but wanted to know if any TL gurus on here can help me identify the problem.

* When slowing to a stop I have the window down and I can hear a squeeking or rubbing as the wheels turn.
* At high stable speeds the steering wheel shakes

 

I have this problem slightly I recently noticed. Got a bit louder after running it at the track. Gonna tear apart my drivers side wheel maybe later today to see if any bushings or anything is worn.

 

check your lugs and if the rims were put back on correctly. and if the tires were balanced properly.

 

I know my lugs and so on were put on right I did them and tqed them haha. I know there was a TSB on a loose driveshaft shield as I recall I am going to check that later today see if thats it. They say it does loosen a bit over time.
