Key fob quit - I replaced the batteries in both but no luck. No outside key holes - how do i get into the car?? I'm guessing the car battery is dead, but can't do anything about it until I can get in the car. The freaking manual is in the car!

You didn't put a "cheat" wire outside the car, since you don't have any keyholes? I'm not familiar with the "shaved key hole mod" but can't you just pop the cover off that hides the key hole?

 

 

Just pop the small end cap off the handle on the driver's side door using a small screwdriver-- as AMUA6 pointed out, a prior owner modded your TL by putting a rear door handle cap over the key hole.

If you break a tab on the cap, it's a $16 part, max.

OP, just pop the cap off, and use the key.

 

Are you sure the keyfob is linked to the car.

Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time.

If it blinks once, you're linked. If it blinks twice, you're not, so do it again.
