Hello All,

I went to lock the car remotely using the key fob and nothing happened.
I tried using the second key fob and nothing happened.
Any ideas? Has anyone seen this before?

Did it stop working or it never worked?

Yes, key fob #1 worked once this morning as well as yesterday. I tested Key fob #2 sometime in the past and everything was fine. My TL has 220,000 plus miles on it. I think I'm going to look at the relay as I am not hearing the usual clicking sound when I press the key fob.

 

Batteries are good?

 

If you manually unlock the drivers door, and then find that the keyfob works on the other doors, it means you need a new part for inside the drivers door. I just had mine done by an independent. $120 incl tax.
